Certified Medication Aide Assisted Living

• Administer medication to residents in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Assist with meal service and support residents as needed.
• Provide companionship and build positive relationships with residents.
• Clean resident apartments, wash linens and clothing.
• Assist with daily activities and provide assistance when needed.

• High School graduate or the equivalent.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a State Certified 75-hour Nursing Assistant course as approved by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services required.
• Successful completion of the 40-hour medication aide course as approved by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services required.
• Must remain in good standing with the Nursing Assistant registry and the Medication Aide registry.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a nursing assistant or medication aide required.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
