Warehouse Technician

Talascend is currently seeking a Warehouse Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Blair, Nebraska
.

This role involves supporting packaging operations, operating packaging equipment, managing damaged products, and maintaining cleanliness within the warehouse environment. The position also includes participation in safety and quality programs.

• Support packaging duties including forklift support, pulling product off the packaging line, recording pallet counts, and placing pallets in the warehouse.
• Operate packaging equipment to produce totes and 25kg pallets, including bag adjustments, equipment troubleshooting, and general operation.
• Identify and move damaged products to designated areas, break down and restock pallets, and dump damage bags into super sacks for reprocessing.
• Perform sanitation duties such as cleaning spills, sweeping, and wiping down equipment, railings, bumpers, shelves, and walls.
• Participate in security and safety training related to feed safety, product quality, and environmental safety and health programs.
• Assist with miscellaneous warehouse projects as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in warehouse, packaging, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and packaging equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.
