Guest Care Associate

Spartan Nash - 238 South 8th Street - Responsibilities:
Provide courteous guest service in person or by telephone; answer incoming calls to the retail store and direct calls to the appropriate department and assist with guest questions in store;
Operate cash register to itemize customer purchases and assist guests with self-checkouts;
Process financial transactions including cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, gift certificates, rain checks, voids, and coupons;
Maintain a clean and well-stocked department; ensure the department complies with safety and sanitation procedures and standards;
Communicate store programs, in-store specials and coupons to customers and model high standards of service
