Warehouse Associate

Job Description

• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
• Sorts and organizes freight
• Operates various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Identifies unusable pallets
• Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Removes items from sorting bins, scans and places onto conveyor belt
• Removes items from packing bins, scans items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produces packing list and bags items
• Operates warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures (e.g., bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard‑free condition

US $16.00 – US $20.00 per hour

Pay scale: based on productivity

Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Evening Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM

Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (e.g., electric pallet jack)
• Meet fast‑paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned
