We’re looking for an experienced Material Handler Shift Lead to help lead our warehouse team with a strong focus on safety, quality, teamwork, and product stewardship . This hands‑on leadership role coaches Material Handlers, helps resolve day‑to‑day issues, and ensures our finished product meets Nature Works’ standards before it leaves the facility.
What You’ll Do- Lead by example and help the team safely and efficiently achieve shift goals
- Coach Material Handlers on procedures, processes, and best practices
- Champion product quality, ensuring labels, boxes, pallets, and finished shipments meet expectations
- Participate in shift exchanges and help coordinate troubleshooting and maintenance needs
- Help resolve team concerns and serve as a resource for Material Handlers
- Champion safety programs, near‑miss reporting, observations, and procedure compliance
- Identify and address safety, quality, environmental, maintenance, and production concerns
- Perform all responsibilities of the Material Handler 4 role as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of Nature Works material handling experience
- Successful completion of the Nature Works Level 4 Material Handling skills assessment
- Meets expectations or higher on performance reviews for the past 24 months
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and material handling processes
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Positive, team‑oriented leadership style with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Pay starts at $29.75 per hour.
- Benefits begin on day 1.
- 3 weeks of vacation, 6 family/sick days.
- 8.5% company 401k contribution.
