About the role
As a Vehicle Technician in one of our workshops, you'll mostly be repairing and maintaining our fleet of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy to both VOSA and Partnership standards. You’ll be working with many experienced technicians who will ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed and excel in your role, giving you opportunities to develop your knowledge and progress your career.

SalaryThe salary offered for this role is up to £55,000, depending on skills and experience, plus overtime is readily available.
Working hoursFull time role, 37.5 hours per week.
- Sunday to Wednesday - 20:00 to 06:00
This is a permanent role.
LocationFenny Lock.
What you’ll be doing- You’ll be working on our large HGV lorries, ensuring all vehicles are maintained to a safe and roadworthy standard for both DVSA and Partnership requirements.
- Ensuring that relevant sections of all inspections, services, and defect sheets are completed in compliance with our ‘O’ Licence obligations, and that all spare requests and time books are completed daily.
- Staying aware of best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques to deliver high‑quality repairs in a cost‑effective manner, ensuring the use of spare parts and consumables reflects the level of work carried out.
- Our Vehicle Workshop is growing and you’ll work with experienced partners who provide tools and support for your development.
- You will have the opportunity to guide and support apprentices, sharing your knowledge and experience for the growth of the team.
- Working in a fun, collaborative environment where all partners contribute to shared success.
- City and Guilds Level 3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent qualifications.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness.
- IRTEC.
- LGV C+E Driving Licence.
