HGV Vehicle Technician; Nights

About The Role

As a Vehicle Technician in one of our workshops, you will primarily repair and maintain our fleet of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy to both VOSA and Partnership standards.

You’ll work with experienced technicians who will provide the tools and support you need to succeed, giving you opportunities to develop your knowledge and progress your career.

• You must be over 18 years old.

Up to £55,000 depending on skills and experience, plus overtime is readily available.

Full time (37.5 hours per week)

• Sunday to Wednesday – 20:00 to 06:00

Permanent role.

Fenny Lock.

• Work on large HGV lorries, ensuring all vehicles are maintained to a safe and roadworthy standard for DVSA and Partnership’s requirements.
• Complete relevant sections of all inspections, services and defect sheets in compliance with ‘O’ Licence obligations, and complete spare requests and time books daily.
• Apply best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques, ensuring high-quality repairs are cost‑effective and spare parts usage reflects the level of work performed.

Our Vehicle Workshop is growing, and you’ll work with experienced Partners who will provide the tools, guidance, and support to help you thrive. The workshop fosters a fun, collaborative environment and you’ll have the chance to support the development of apprentices, sharing your knowledge for the team's growth.

• City and Guilds Level 3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness.

• IRTEC certification.
• LGV C+E Driving Licence.
