Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Paraplanner to provide efficient administrative support to their team of Advisers. In this role, you will be allocated a dedicated portfolio of clients to assist with processing transactions, handling direct client interactions, managing accounts, and supporting basic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning Support:
Formulate effective financial plan and risk management documents tailored to customer needs, objectives, risk tolerance, and the strategies outlined by the adviser. Ensure all documentation adheres to legislative, compliance, and company requirements. - Statement of Advice:
Prepare statement of advice documentation as needed. - Portfolio & Risk Reviews:
Review customer portfolio reports and risk coverage in line with market movements, changes in client circumstances, product offerings, and provider rates. Keep customers well-informed and ensure necessary actions are recommended and implemented. - Documentation & Reporting:
Guarantee the accurate production of client portfolio review documentation and reports. Track and report new business statistics. - Client Relationship & Service Management:
Handle and resolve client enquiries, gather policy information, compile summaries, and research product data. - Administration:
Manage new applications and quotations, maintain CRM systems, manage diaries, and prepare for insurance review appointments.
- Education:
A relevant BCom degree (Finance, Business Finance, Investments, Financial Planning, Financial Sciences, Investment Management, or Economics). - Experience:
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience within the financial services industry. - Licensing: A valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.
- Tech
Skills:
Highly computer literate (specifically proficient in MS Office). - Qualifications (Advantageous): A CFP designation and/or a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning will be highly beneficial.
