Job Description To manage the professional onboarding, administration, and finalisation of deceased estates in full compliance with the Administration of Estates Act 66 of 1965 and all applicable legislation. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strict adherence to legal and procedural standards throughout the estate administration process. This position is based in Bloemfontein. Applicants should be willing and able to work from this location.
Are you someone who can:- Independently manage end to end Deceased Estates Administration in terms of the administration of estates act
- Manage customer relationships and escalations
- Analytical thinker and ability to utilise legal background/knowledge to problem solve complexities that arise in estate administration
- Understanding and practical knowledge of Business entities, Estate Duty, Capital gains and Income tax relating to deceased estates
- Good drafting skills and communication.
- Ability and understanding of risk and compliance features within financial (fiduciary) industry and managing complexity
- Strong stakeholder management
- Deep Knowledge in Farming Properties, Companies and CC’s as part of Estate Administration
- LLB degree essential CFP advantageous
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience administering complex deceased estates/high net worth clients within a Fiduciary environment
- Experience in dealing with businesses enterprises and farming properties advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure and meet financial targets
