About the Role

Our client seeks a dedicated Management Consultant with expertise in the Financial Services sector to join their team serving clients in Bloemfontein and surrounding areas. This role involves advising financial institutions on critical strategic, operational, and technological challenges they face in a rapidly evolving market. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge to help clients enhance performance, manage risk, and drive innovation.

Working closely with senior client leaders, you will develop and implement tailored solutions that address specific business needs and contribute to their long-term success and competitive positioning.

• Advise financial services clients on strategies for growth, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct assessments of financial operations, risk management frameworks, and technology infrastructure.
• Develop business cases and implementation plans for strategic initiatives such as digital transformation or market entry.
• Facilitate workshops and client meetings to gather insights and present strategic recommendations.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting financial services.
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and project teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting or within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of its specific dynamics.
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and translate insights into strategic advice.
• Familiarity with key financial services sub-sectors (e.g., banking, insurance, asset management).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.
• Experience with regulatory environments such as Basel III or IFRS is highly desirable.
