Concierge

Our client is looking for a personable and knowledgeable Concierge to enhance the guest experience at their esteemed establishment in Bloemfontein . You will be the go-to person for guests seeking assistance with a wide range of services, from making dining reservations and booking tours to arranging transportation and providing local recommendations. This role requires an individual with exceptional communication skills, a proactive approach, and a deep understanding of the local area and its offerings.

You will play a vital role in ensuring guests have a memorable and comfortable stay.

• Provide a personalized and attentive service to all hotel guests.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and activities.
• Make reservations for restaurants, tours, transportation, and other guest requests.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of events, restaurants, and services in the Bloemfontein area.
• Handle guest complaints and issues with discretion and efficiency, escalating when necessary.
• Coordinate with various departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure seamless service.

• Previous experience as a Concierge or in a guest-facing role within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent knowledge of the local area, including attractions, dining, and entertainment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Fluency in English and at least one other language is advantageous.
