Food & Beverage Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Manager to lead their culinary operations in Bloemfontein. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house F&B functions, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for guests while managing costs and driving profitability. You will be responsible for menu development, staff training, inventory management, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership qualities and a deep understanding of culinary trends and operational excellence in the hospitality sector.

• Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and banqueting services.
• Develop and implement innovative menus and beverage programs, considering market trends and guest preferences.
• Manage F&B costs, including inventory control, purchasing, and waste reduction, to maximize profitability.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and manage the F&B team to ensure high performance and exceptional guest service.
• Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations within all F&B operations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional activities and special events to drive F&B revenue.

• Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or a similar senior role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of culinary operations, menu engineering, and cost control techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a hybrid work environment , balancing strategic planning with on-site operational oversight.
• Proficiency in F&B management software and POS systems.
• A relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts is highly desirable.
