About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled HVAC Installation and Maintenance Technician to join their team in Bloemfontein . This role is essential for ensuring the proper installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients. You will be responsible for diagnosing system issues, performing complex repairs, and ensuring new installations meet all performance and safety standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on professional with a strong understanding of HVAC principles and a commitment to providing exceptional service throughout the Free State province.
- Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and associated components, according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups on various HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning HVAC systems, including refrigeration, heating, and ventilation components.
- Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Ensure all installations and repairs comply with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Provide clear explanations of services performed and any recommended actions to clients.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician , with strong skills in installation and repair.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Relevant certification (e.g., NTC, F‑Gas equivalent) is required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the Bloemfontein area.
