About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and skilled Electrical Installation Technician to join their expanding team in Welkom . This role is vital for the successful implementation and setup of electrical systems and equipment across various projects. You will be responsible for ensuring all installations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with electrical codes and company standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical principles, hands‑on installation experience, and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the seamless execution of projects and maintaining the highest standards of electrical safety and functionality.

• Perform safe and accurate electrical installations for new equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan and execute installations.
• Install, connect, and test a variety of electrical components, including conduits, wiring, control panels, and lighting systems.
• Diagnose and rectify any electrical faults or issues that arise during or after installation.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes , regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

• Proven experience as an Electrical Installation Technician or Electrician.
• Solid understanding of electrical theory, national electrical codes, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints effectively.
• Relevant trade qualification or certification in electrical installation is required.
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
