About the Role

Our client seeks a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join their facilities management team serving the Welkom area. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and industrial sites. You will ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency of HVAC units, diagnosing and rectifying faults promptly. This role requires a strong technical background in HVAC systems and a dedication to providing high-quality service to clients in the Free State.

• Install new HVAC units and systems according to design specifications.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and filter changes.
• Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for HVAC systems.
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide prompt resolutions to client issues in Welkom.

• Certified or qualified HVAC Technician with demonstrable experience.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and a good understanding of refrigeration cycles and electrical controls.
• Experience with various types of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage a schedule of service calls effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach when working at client sites in Welkom.
