About the Role
Our client is offering a significant opportunity for individuals interested in industrial electrical work as an Apprentice Electrician in Bloemfontein, Free State . This apprenticeship focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within industrial facilities. You will learn to work with high-voltage equipment, control systems, and complex machinery under the supervision of experienced industrial electricians. This program is designed to build a strong foundation for a successful career in a critical and in-demand field, contributing to the operational efficiency of industries in Bloemfontein .
Key Responsibilities- Assist senior electricians with the installation and maintenance of industrial electrical equipment, including motors, control panels, and lighting systems.
- Learn to read and interpret industrial electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Perform tasks related to power distribution, wiring, and troubleshooting of electrical faults under supervision.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and industry standards.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools specific to industrial electrical work.
- Actively participate in all technical training and safety workshops.
- Grade 12 or equivalent, with a strong foundation in Mathematics and Physical Science.
- A genuine passion for electrical work and a commitment to safety.
- Good physical condition and the ability to work in industrial environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work effectively in a team.
- Must have a valid SA be legally able to work in the country.
