HIRING IMMEDIATELY: ACCOUNTING CLERK IN BLOOMFIELD, CT

This individual will be responsible for providing accounting analysts, obtaining daily fill rate and cycle count information, and and more listed below. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $17/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 1st shift
• Located in Bloomfield, Connecticut

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide Accounting Analyst with Daily Volume for DC
• Obtain daily fill rate and cycle count information
• Oversee that the purchase order procedure is followed by the DC
• Complete the 3-way matching verification for payment process of invoices
• Facilitate the standardization of all DC's operational reports to be in line with WCD, Inc Administrative Office directives.
• Consults with:
  Accounting Analyst, Accounting Supervisor, Operations Administrative Manager and All levels of DC Management
• Assist with updating vendor files.
• Contact vendors to obtain proper documentation.
• Assist with Lumping Process

Requirements and Qualifications

• Good organizational skills
• Knowledge of DC operations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong sense of teamwork
• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English (read, speak and write) as this position will require communication to vendors and WCD team
• Some college preferred
• Excel skills (spreadsheets)
• Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.
• Lifting up to 10lbs
• Sitting at a computer for long periods of time
• Climbing stairs and walking through warehouse
• Ability to work in a Distribution Center environment with a variation of temperatures.
