Applications are currently being accepted for the position of Special Education Instructional Assistant - Extended School Year (ESY).

Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide assistance to mandated students under the supervision of special education teachers;
? Prior experience as a special education instructional assistant in working with students;
? Ability to work with students with special needs in a classroom environment and ability to follow teacher and related services, staff instructions with regard to work modifications and behavior plans;
? Strong behavior management skills;
? Ability to reinforce material in a clear and efficient manner;
? Ability to consistently implement instructional and behavior programs for students receiving special education services under the direction of special education teachers; and
? Ability to relate to students, teachers, and staff in a positive and effective manner

? Ability to carry out written and oral instructions.
? Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors.
? Communicate clearly and courteously, both orally and in writing.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree, 60 college credits or have passed the Para Pro Exam.

Wage:
Per BFEP Contract

Work Schedule:

? July 6, 2026 - July 31, 2026, Monday through Thursday
? Must be available to work all scheduled days
? Up to 4.5 hours per day
