Designer/Drafter

The primary responsibility of the Designer/Drafter is to create and modify drawings, models, parts, and assemblies using AutoCAD. This role supports Service Engineering's Design Services group and requires a high level of technical proficiency and attention to detail. Key responsibilities include developing and revising detailed drawings, models, and assemblies using AutoCAD, supporting design activities for components, assemblies, and packaging solutions, tracking, updating, and communicating project status to management, and ensuring all work complies with company standards and policies.

Required skills include strong creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, effective verbal and written communication skills, being detail-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, proficiency in interpreting and producing technical drawings, basic knowledge of machines, tools, and their applications, and understanding of engineering principles and their practical application.

Education and experience required include a high school diploma with technical school training, or equivalent work experience, and an associate degree in Engineering or equivalent training preferred.
