Location:
Onsite (Client located in Bloomfield, CT)
Work Shift
:
Monday through Friday (8:00AM – 5:00PM PST)
Must be able to work on W-2 basis
Must be local to the Bloomfield, CT area

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON A W-2
Job DescriptionResearch and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems, and processes and develop quality standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and evaluate product integrity and standards.
- Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data
- Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities
- May write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities
- May specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application
- Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability
- 3+ years experience required
- Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability
- Basic leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports
- Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) (Typically required)
- The technical skills include the ability to make sketches and engineering drawings and experience using computer applications related to the engineering field.
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
