Responsibilities
  • Design, construction, maintenance, and/or repair of plant equipment and machinery
  • Establish standards and policies for operating procedures and inspection of maintenance equipment
  • Routine facility maintenance including plant electrical infrastructure, chilled water systems, HVAC and air exchange systems, facility structural maintenance, compressed air systems, and water systems
  • Develop monitoring systems to evaluate the health of facility maintenance
  • Coordinate all preventative maintenance through in-plant labor and outside services
  • Manage technicians to accomplish engineering department tasks
  • Perform technician tasks as needed to ensure ongoing positive operation of the facility, including maintaining product water and mineral injection systems, filtration, CIP tasks, ozone, filler sanitation, and batching support
  • Contribute to plant projects and data collection initiatives related to corporate requests; execute tasks in areas requiring evaluation and corrective action
  • Drive cost-savings and other projects to support company strategies
  • Act as a vocal safety advocate; promote safety behaviors and culture in plant management meetings
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
  • 6 years of experience in the specified position
  • 6 years of experience managing people or projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
  • 10+ years of experience in the specified position
  • 10+ years of experience managing people or projects

Education

  • Minimum:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Preferred:
    Master’s Degree in Engineering or related field
