GE Vernova seeks a Lead Engineer for HRSG Project Engineering to drive technical leadership on combined-cycle power projects. You will own HRSG system design, analysis, and integration, ensuring performance, reliability, and safety across the project lifecycle. Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, evaluate suppliers, review drawings and calculations, and resolve complex field and commissioning issues. Leverage thermal and mechanical engineering tools, standards, and digital platforms to optimize plant efficiency and support decarbonization and the energy transition for global customers.
Responsibilities
- Own HRSG system design, performance, and integration for combined-cycle projects
- Develop and review engineering calculations, specifications, and drawings
- Ensure compliance with ASME and other relevant industry codes and standards
- Collaborate with project, sourcing, manufacturing, and field teams to meet scope, cost, and schedule
- Evaluate and guide suppliers on technical requirements and design quality
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for HRSG systems in the field
- Use digital tools and simulations to optimize plant efficiency and reliability
- Contribute to continuous improvement, standardization, and knowledge sharing across engineering teams
