Job Summary: The Data & Application Specialist supports the organization by developing, maintaining and optimizing both data solutions and business applications. This role bridges analytical insight with hands-on development, ensuring that data, reporting and application systems work together to support operational and strategic goals. They maintain and provide vision for future enhancements on all business platform applications, including, CRM, ERP, and MRP.
The Data & Application Specialist documents all procedures, projects and technical guides to assist in the forward progress of the applications as it relates to the business development.

Job Summary: The Data & Application Specialist supports the organization by developing, maintaining and optimizing both data solutions and business applications. This role bridges analytical insight with hands-on development, ensuring that data, reporting and application systems work together to support operational and strategic goals. They maintain and provide vision for future enhancements on all business platform applications, including, CRM, ERP, and MRP.
The Data & Application Specialist documents all procedures, projects and technical guides to assist in the forward progress of the applications as it relates to the business development.
- Support enterprise software systems (ERP, ECM, CRM, etc.).
- Develop, maintain, manage, and modify all software systems, software tools and applications.
- Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.
- Builds automated reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Define specifications for complex software programming applications.
- Interface with end-users and software consultants.
- Build multi-dimensional data models.
- Analyze, develop, and implement testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Analyze, design, and develop modifications and changes to existing systems to enhance performance.
- Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI scripts and data models.
- Study, analyze and understands business requirements in context to business intelligence.
- Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administrations.
- SSRS report writing experience and ability to create functional reporting.
- Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Background in supporting software systems for manufacturing.
- Project Management Experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages (.NET, C#, Visual Basic, etc.)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, SQL Management

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years' experience working with information technologies and software systems. Experience supporting ERP and related systems for manufacturing.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
