• Identify new suppliers in conjunction with applicable teams
• Qualify new suppliers in accordance with Sourcing and Supplier Quality procedures
• Assist in supplier agreement negotiations while periodically reviewing pricing, terms, and conditions
• Recommend frame agreements where applicable and execute upon approval
• Analyze and evaluate bids to determine optimal value, initiate and issue Purchase Orders (PO) in alignment with Procurement policies, conduct receipts after confirming delivery with internal teams
• Assist suppliers with questions related to PO or invoicing, monitor and track supplier delivery performance, assist in issue resolution as applicable

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• 5+ years of purchasing or related experience
• 3+ years of SAP experience and knowledge of purchasing related T-codes
• Strong knowledge of purchasing methods and techniques
• Experience in negotiating/managing supplier contracts and agreements

ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Vacation is provided based on years of service for hourly and non-exempt positions. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $68,600 and $109,760 annually.
