We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Production Control Assistant to join our team in Bloomfield, CT. The Production Control Assistant will ensure that all production drawings, process designs and improvements are developed to meet customer requirements, productivity and quality expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Moves, scans and counts parts.
  • Working with the Sr. Team Leader assists with daily/weekly manufacturing plan.
  • Data entry and maintenance of information in the ERP system.
  • Works with Sr. Team leader on controlling the flow of materials to ensure continuous manufacturing production.
  • Identify problem areas. Report issues to Sr. Team Leader or Value Stream Manager.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and processes. Report safety incidents to supervisor.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to work processes. Contribute to 5S program in work area.
  • Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contribute to positive teamwork environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Qualifications

    Education:

    High school diploma/GED.

    Experience:

    1-3 years of production or expediting experience in a manufacturing environment.
