Material Handler - No Forklift

Our client, a leader in food manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler - No Forklift to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the production and warehouse teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills that align well with the organization.

Location: Bloomfield, CT

Pay Range: $17.00

Shift: 5:00 am- 1:00 pm, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

• Safely move, stage, and store materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished goods within the facility
• Supply production and packaging lines with necessary materials to ensure continuous operation
• Load and unload trailers, verifying counts, and maintaining proper documentation
• Perform physical movements and system transactions for all materials, including scanning, labeling, and inventory tracking
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies promptly

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred
• Experience operating forklifts or powered industrial trucks (PIT) required; certification preferred
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management or ERP systems (SAP experience a plus)
• Knowledge of food safety and GMP requirements is advantageous
