2nd Shift Seasonal Material Handler

Material Handler – 2nd Shift

Position begins ASAP and will run through September 11, 2026.

Pay: $20/hour. Shift Time: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Job Summary:

The Material Handler (Shipper) performs picking, unloading/load trucks, organizing the shipping floor, inventory counts, paperwork, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned.

• Review pertinent information with the previous shift.
• Unload trucks and inventory product.
• Pick orders and load them onto trucks.
• Organize stacks of product on the shipping floor.
• Assist the employees in other areas.
• Neatly and accurately fill out all necessary documentation (Ex. HACCP — CTS).
• Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work area in accordance with GMP and Good Housekeeping Practices.
• Adhere to all GMP and Food Safety Policies and Practices.
• Communicate well with co-workers and supervisors.
• Follow all JSA guidelines.
• May be required to perform backup duties for Team Leader.

High School Diploma or GED.

• Personal Protective Equipment (JSA’s)
• Powered hand jack
• Forklift
• Baskets/Dollies
• Housekeeping Equipment

Stand/walk continuously, turn side to side continuously, occasionally crouch, reach or lift 15‑30 lbs continuously, push/pull force continuously, lift product 10‑30 lbs occasionally, rarely assume awkward position, frequently forward bend.

8‑12 hour shift with two fifteen‑minute breaks and one half‑hour break. Overtime required. Environment: minimal to moderate noise, controlled temperature, sufficient lighting, possible slippery footing.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
