Seasonal Material Handlers to support our busy season. Position begins ASAP and will run through September 11, 2026.
Job Title and PayMaterial Handler - 2nd Shift
Pay: $20/hour
Shift Time: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Job ResponsibilitiesThe Material Handler (Shipper) will have various duties within the distribution area. He/She will have job responsibilities of picking orders, unloading and loading trucks, organizing the shipping floor, taking daily inventories and keeping accurate counts. The material handler (shipper) will neatly and accurately fill out all necessary paperwork and turn it into the proper place. Responsible for area housekeeping and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Review pertinent information with the previous shift.
- Unload trucks and inventory product.
- Pick orders and load them onto trucks.
- Organize stacks of product on the shipping floor.
- Assist the employees in other areas.
- Neatly and accurately fill out all necessary documentation (Ex. HACCP – CTS).
- Maintain a safe neat and clean work area in accordance with GMP and Good House Keeping Practices (GHP’s).
- Must adhere to all GMP and Food Safety Policies and Practices.
- Communicate well with co-workers and supervisors.
- Follow all JSA guidelines.
- May be required to perform backup duties for Team Leader.
High School Diploma or GED.

Rarely 1 - 5% (4.5 min – 25 min)
Occasionally 6 – 33 % (27 min – 2 hrs. 45 min)
Frequently 34 – 66 % (3 hrs – 5 hrs.)
Continuously 67 – 100 % (5 hrs – 7.5 hrs)
- Standing and walking – Continuously
- Turning body side to side – Continuously
- Crouching – Occasionally
- Reach or lift 15lbs. to 30lbs. above shoulder level – Continuously
- Push/pull force – Continuously
- Lifting product weight of 10lbs. – 30lbs. – Occasionally
- Assume awkward position – Rarely
- Forward bending – Frequently
- 8-12 Hour shift. Will receive 2 fifteen-minute breaks and one-half hour break. Overtime is required.
- Environment – Noise levels will be minimal to moderate, and temperature will be controlled. Lighting is sufficient. There is a possibility of slippery footing.
