RN Clinical Lead Pediatrics and Internal Medicine Bloomfield CT

The RN Clinical Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing daily clinical operations in a medical practice, collaborating with Regional Nurse Managers, and providing direct patient care. This role is ideal for those looking to make a positive impact in healthcare while leading a clinical team.

• Location: Bloomfield, CT
• Facility: Pro Health Physicians
• Department/Unit: Pediatrics and Internal Medicine
• Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday rotation

• Triage patients; answer and document patient phone calls; route messages to providers using the EHR
• Conduct outreach to patients for appointments, communicate test results, and follow up on care plans
• Educate patients on their illness or injury and self-management of their condition
• Document all patient interactions and clinical activities in the electronic health record
• Carry out standing orders
• Respond to tasks in a timely manner and monitor status of critical referrals
• Maintain oversight of temperature monitoring and complete annual CLIA competencies
• Maintain knowledge of current coding, OSHA and CLIA regulations, and company policies
• Adhere to all patient safety initiatives and infection control regulations
• Create and manage the clinical team's schedule and assignments
• Assist care team to ensure smooth office operation and delivery of excellent service
• Participate in interviewing and precepting clinical team members

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• 1+ years of nursing experience in a hospital or medical office
• Experience with charge/clinical lead responsibilities

• Currently licensed as a RN in the State of Connecticut
