This individual will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes within the facility, ensuring that all products meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. - Starting at $60,000-$63,000

Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise and train QC team members to ensure adherence to quality control processes and procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications.
- Oversee and enforce proper sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control procedures within the facility.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality checks, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Investigate and address customer complaints related to product quality, working with internal teams to implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and other regulatory agencies' guidelines.
- Operate and oversee the use of scanning and detection equipment to check for foreign materials in food products.
- Conduct weight, temperature, and packaging inspections to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring the facility is always prepared for regulatory inspections
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, food safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Experience with HACCP, GMPs, and other food safety programs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues efficiently.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and train QC staff.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience in quality control, food manufacturing, or warehouse environments preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience in a QC role is a plus.
- Knowledge of FDA, USDA, and HACCP regulations is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Comfortable working in temperature‑controlled environments, including cold storage areas.
- Ability to work around heavy machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors in a high‑paced environment
