QE Engineer / Business Associate

We are seeking an experienced QE Engineer / Business Associate with strong expertise in API testing, HL7 FHIR, and healthcare interoperability. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end API validation for CMS Burden Reduction initiatives, working in Agile/SAFe environments while ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and high-quality software delivery.

Role and Responsibilities:

Own and execute end-to-end API and integration testing for CMS Burden Reduction initiatives.
Validate HL7 FHIR-based REST APIs including payloads, schemas, headers, authentication, and error handling.
Perform deep API validation across upstream and downstream systems and integration partners.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance across API workflows.
Participate in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Release Retrospectives, Technical Design Walkthroughs, and System Demos.
Contribute to test strategy, estimation, dependency analysis, regression planning, and risk assessment.
Define and review acceptance criteria using the GIVEN-WHEN-THEN format.
Design, automate, and execute end-to-end, integration, positive, and negative test scenarios.
Identify test data requirements and support integrated test environment setup.
Execute testing based on business priorities and critical paths.
Demonstrate test evidence and support feature acceptance.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, RTEs, and QE Leads on defect management.
Support warranty activities and post-production validation.
Maintain Jira updates for test execution, defects, and feature progress.

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in End-to-End and Integration QA.
Strong hands-on experience with API testing using Postman.
Experience validating RESTful APIs and HL7 FHIR standards.
Experience with Playwright for API and UI testing.
Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability and CMS Burden Reduction initiatives.
Experience working with Jira for defect and test management.
Experience in Agile and SAFe delivery environments.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
