Security Officer Patrol Analyst

You will work as a Security Officer Patrol Analyst in Bloomfield, CT
, serving and safeguarding clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. At a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents. You will support access activity, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that values integrity, agility, and innovation every day.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting notable activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verifying credentials, following post orders, and communicating with site representatives regarding access‑related questions or concerns.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing shipping and receiving areas, reporting damaged property or policy violations, and maintaining accurate daily activity and incident records.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
