Maintenance Technician II
Kelly® is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician II for an opportunity with a well-established manufacturing company in Bloomfield, Connecticut. This position is ideal for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and helping keep production operations running safely and efficiently.
The Maintenance Technician II will work independently and alongside engineering and maintenance personnel to diagnose equipment problems, complete repairs, and maintain production and facility systems.

Bloomfield, CT Pay: $32–$35 per hour, based on experience Shift: To be determined
- Inspect production machinery and identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Perform and document preventive maintenance using computerized maintenance software.
- Maintain equipment service histories and accurate repair records.
- Help establish and maintain appropriate spare-parts inventory.
- Research and procure replacement parts for equipment repairs and rebuilds.
- Perform general preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment that does not involve refrigerant.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
- Repair and replace faulty components on production and facility equipment.
- Support mixers, coating equipment, slitters, pumps, compressed-air systems, and related machinery.
- Complete general electrical repairs, maintenance, and electronic-control installations.
- Perform safe shutdown and startup procedures for low- to medium-voltage equipment.
- Use equipment manuals, schematics, and illustrated parts breakdowns to complete repairs.
- Document repairs, modifications, and equipment changes.
- Assist with developing and updating standard operating procedures.
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable regulations.
- Participate in safety audits, corrective actions, and continuous-improvement activities.
- Identify potential equipment and workplace hazards.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas using 5S standards.
- Support initiatives designed to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least five years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Basic industrial electrical and electronic-controls experience.
- Experience repairing production machinery and facility equipment.
- The ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, work instructions, and parts diagrams.
- Basic shop-math and computer skills.
- Experience entering maintenance information into a CMMS or preventive-maintenance system.
- Strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills.
- Experience in printing, coating, converting, film, or similar manufacturing operations, a plus.
- Post-secondary training in industrial mechanics, electronics, HVAC, or a related technical field, preferred.
