We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a pay range of $21.00 - $30.90/hr. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. The Insulator is responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing insulation materials across a variety of industrial applications. This role requires the use of appropriate techniques and tools to ensure insulation is installed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with product specifications and production schedules. The position also requires adherence to safety standards and attention to detail to ensure high-quality results.

• Shop and yard environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and insulation materials.
• Requires strict adherence to PPE requirements and safety protocols

• Measure, cut, and install insulation materials in accordance with specifications.
• Install components in flat, vertical, or horizontal positions.
• Monitor fitting processes to avoid material damage.
• Verify conformity of work pieces using measuring tools or templates.
• Ensure all assigned tasks are clearly understood before beginning work.
• Complete all insulation tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

• Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas daily.
• Examine work pieces for defects and report all nonconforming materials to the supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1+ year of relevant work experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Basic math skills, including use of tape measures, levels, and squares.
• Ability to safely use a variety of small power tools and hand tools.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and compliance with company Health & Safety procedures.

• Ability to install insulation in all positions (bent, stooping, squatting) with quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs with proper body mechanics.
• Ability to push/pull heavy materials safely with proper body mechanics.
• Frequent walking throughout shop and yard areas.
• Ability to climb ladders, including those exceeding 12 feet.
