Position Description

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will be a key player in the definition and execution of client goals. We are looking for an accomplished and capable senior Mobile Engineer to join the team! We have built our success through timely bets on emerging technology, rapid execution and skills development.

As a senior Mobile Engineer, you will be a liaison between the engineering teams, enterprise architecture teams and customer facing teams (like PMs, Business, Product Management, QE/QA etc.) and will set technical direction for the department by researching and recommending best practices and frameworks to keep the department current on Mobile with the marketplace.

You will guide the team by creating technical designs, promote and champion best technical practices with the engineering teams, with a focus on both tactical and strategic development of the team.

You will also perform code reviews, triage bugs and, you get to code.

• 5+ years experienced in Software Development as a Frontend developer.
• 6+ years of experience in React Native Development.
• You're passionate about Front End Engineering, and continually follow the React Native platform's innovations.

• You're an active coder with an eye for UI and Visual Design. You have no problem coding front-end and back-end deliverables. Exposure to core Native Android/iOS or other mobile platforms is a plus.
• Experience with object- and service-oriented software development in relevant programming languages & runtimes such as JavaScript/Node.js.
• Solid working knowledge of React Native framework.
• An understanding of software development methodologies such as SOLID, modern testing frameworks, package management systems, CI/CD, release management, software maintenance, and source code management.
• Solid working knowledge of HTTP-based APIs and a range of authentication protocols.
• You're interested in working on fast-paced, Agile software development teams.
• You love the idea of working on cross-functional teams: you'll work in close quarters with your fellow designers, QE Engineers, and Scrum Masters every step of the way.
• Demonstrate thought leadership by promoting new techniques, identifying growth areas for the department, promoting Client and its Mobile capabilities in the industry by presenting technical topics at various venues.

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Proven track record of success in challenging the status quo, implementing new ideas and designs with a practical orientation.
