Truck Driver - Local Class A

Overview

Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Deliver and unload bread to customer depots
• Drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort

• 5-day work week with a dispatch ranging from 6am to 3pm
• Tuesday and Saturday off

• Average $87,000 annually
• Home daily

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• English language proficiency required (per federal law 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening
• Regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; must work in a constant state of alertness and safety-consciousness

• Vision and hearing ability; close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustable focus

• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
