The Yard Coordinator (Dispatcher) role is dedicated to ensuring productivity and operational goals are met while delivering customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment. You will be the professional representative of Ryder, working closely with dispatch and warehouse teams while embracing technology to streamline operations.

- Serve as a Lead Dispatcher, answering questions throughout the shift.
- Address customer issues and provide resolution; engage management when needed.
- Backfill for dispatchers as required.
- Ensure all operational forms are completed accurately.
- Provide training for new hires and ongoing training for current staff.
- Monitor functional and productivity goals; advise management if objectives are not met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Excellent oral and written communication and follow‑up skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and self‑drive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong multi‑tasking, organization, and time‑management skills.
- Attention to detail with excellent follow‑up practices.
- Knowledge of transportation environments (shipping, receiving, inventory, distribution or dispatch) – advanced preferred.
- Experience with warehouse software, routing, and dispatch systems – advanced preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with the DOT and driver routing; 2+ years in logistics and/or transportation preferred.
- Knowledge of transportation environments (shipping, receiving, inventory, distribution or dispatch) – advanced preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse or software applications, routing, and dispatch systems – advanced preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Hourly: $20.00 – $20.00 (subject to location and experience). Eligible for annual bonus, commission, and long‑term incentive plan based on level and type.
