Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Freezer Shipping Supervisor to join our team in Bloomfield, Connecticut. This individual will be responsible for providing supervisory support to the Freezer Loading crew and Freezer Receiving department of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to be a self-initiator, high level of computer and WMS system literacy, and some college level training is preferred.

• Located in Bloomfield, Connecticut

• Supervises the loading and receiving associates in the Freezer Shipping, Receiving, and office clerks of the warehouse.
• Assigns duties to employees and schedules break periods, work hours, and vacations. Schedules and performs periodic evaluations of employees as dictated by the appropriate HR policies.
• Assist other warehouse floor supervisors and associates in warehouse policies, departmental procedures, and job duties.
• Supervises the deliveries and shipments to the customers and assists the Freezer Receiving department.
• Supervises the investigation of all reports of loading discrepancies, data entry errors, delivery discrepancies and store manifest.
• Follow up on customer concerns/complaints, examines discrepancy reports, and resolutions to restore and promote good public relations with the client.
• Overall responsibility for the supervision of good sanitation practices throughout the warehouse/offices.
• Supervises the practice of seal policies placed on loads.
• Promotes a positive work environment while also being a team builder.
• Must be flexible and able to work any shift in support of business needs.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a self-initiator who can implement and supervise all warehouse data entry programs as directed by the Office Manager.
• High level of computer and WMS system literacy.
• Some college level training is preferred but not necessary so long as there is experience in warehouse supervision and some experience in the wholesale industry preferred.
