Luxury Ranch Accountant

Luxury Ranch Accountant Bloomfield area, approximately 150 miles south of Vinhook (capital city), Namibia. Travel note:
The property is accessible by gravel road for a portion of the route, about a 1.5‑hour drive. Compensation:

A privately owned agricultural enterprise in southern Namibia is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the farm's financial operations, payroll, and recordkeeping. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, experience in agricultural or rural business environments, and the ability to work independently in coordination with the farm's management and ownership.

• Manage monthly payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records.
• Coordinate closely with the Ranch Manager for timesheet approvals and workforce reporting.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for ownership review.
• Manage budgets, cost tracking, and expense forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and labor regulations.
• Support inventory and asset management for supplies, equipment, and farm materials.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and suppliers when needed.
• Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management.

• Fluent in Afrikaans (required) and English (preferred).
• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous experience as an accountant, preferably within an agricultural, hospitality, or rural business environment.
• Strong computer literacy (Excel, accounting software, and payroll systems).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Eligible for, or able to obtain, a Namibian work visa if not a citizen.
