Job Description:
- Responsible for Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) performance including road noise, body structure, isolation, and ride comfort
- Define NVH enablers required to meet program targets for road noise, body structure, isolation, and ride comfort
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate NVH benchmarking, standardized testing, and target setting activities
- Monitor vehicle NVH performance and escalate concerns as required
- Report status in regular management forums (e.g., VIT, Umbrella) and at each program gate
- Ensure Vehicle Design Verification Plan (DVP) is completed accurately and on time
- Drive timely root cause analysis and resolution of technical issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET accredited or equivalent) required
- Experience in Chassis, Body Structure, Mounts design, and/or ride comfort tuning
- Minimum 1 year of NVH engineering experience
- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems
- Demonstrated leadership capability
- Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate with mechanics, technicians, test, and simulation engineers
- Experience with benchmarking, standardized testing, and target setting
- Ability to communicate complex technical data clearly to cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with vehicle development program timing and NVH deliverables
- Proficiency in NVH analysis tools (e.g., LMS, Head Acoustics, Brüel & Kjær)
