Job Description
The Body, Chassis, Interior (BCI) Quality Team is seeking a Vehicle Quality Analyst to support achievement of project quality targets, manage launch timelines and deliverables, and ensure a smooth transition into volume production with high-quality standards.
The role focuses on geometric quality assurance, issue resolution, cross-functional coordination, and validation of vehicle interior/exterior fit and finish during the industrialization phase.

Key Responsibilities:

Validate product and process design at the geometric level, including management of Quality Assurance Fixtures
Support development of geometric monitoring plans for assembly lines
Drive convergence of geometric quality during industrialization prior to volume production
Identify, track, and report component and assembly quality issues and support resolution with engineering and manufacturing teams
Perform dimensional data analysis and resolve interior fit and finish concerns
Define and implement pilot actions for quality issues and ensure closure to meet BCI KPIs
Prepare and deliver presentations using Excel and PowerPoint with strong communication skills
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including HMI, Corporate Quality, Supplier Quality, and Perceived Quality

Top Required Skill Sets:

3–5 years of automotive experience in Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, or Product Quality
Strong knowledge of APQP/PPAP and Supplier Quality processes
Experience with statistical data analysis, metrology, and Root Cause Analysis
Understanding of defect resolution, escalation processes, and corrective action tracking
Knowledge of vehicle design, assembly processes, tooling, and plant operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent Engineering discipline (Materials, Chemical, Civil, Aerospace) from an ABET-accredited university
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and drive issue resolution plans
Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Strong understanding of process control and statistical analysis
