Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with strong experience in automotive ECU electronics design and a proven track record of bringing automotive hardware systems into production.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic, a proactive “can-do” attitude, and the ability to learn quickly while consistently delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of LVEE hardware ECUs for zonal architecture and power distribution units, including IVI and ADAS compute systems.
- Own end-to-end hardware development including schematic capture, PCB design oversight, board bring-up, debugging, and design verification testing.
- Perform signal integrity, timing analysis, thermal testing, environmental testing, and EMC/EMI validation.
- Support manufacturing, release, and production deployment of compute platforms and ECUs.
- Drive concept design, prototyping, engineering, testing, and product launch while meeting cost, reliability, safety, and efficiency goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, verify, and bring up LVEE domain controllers.
- Ensure hardware performance meets requirements in bench and vehicle integration environments.
- Troubleshoot, root cause issues, document findings, and drive resolution.
- Participate in design reviews and xFMEA sessions to incorporate best practices and lessons learned.
- Lead rapid prototyping efforts to demonstrate proof of concept efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of fully validated, high-quality products.
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams for seamless vehicle integration.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience bringing automotive low-voltage electronics designs into production.
- Strong foundation in electrical engineering fundamentals with hands-on hardware development experience.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive design with a strong technical track record.
- Proficiency in schematic capture tools, PCB design tools, and SI/PI simulation tools.
- Experience using oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers for high-speed signal and power circuit debugging.
