The Township is seeking a qualified Plumbing Subcode Official for a part-time or full-time position. Under the general direction of the Construction Official, the successful candidate will review plans and conduct inspections of new and existing buildings and structures to ensure compliance with approved plans and the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code. Responsibilities will include identifying and determining the cause of code violations, taking appropriate corrective and enforcement actions, preparing inspection reports, maintaining accurate records and files, conducting inspections to enforce applicable public health laws and regulations, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Applicants must possess a valid license as well as a Plumbing Inspector license of the appropriate level, High-Rise and Hazardous (HHS) or Industrial and Commercial (ICS), issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Multi-discipline licensing a plus. SDL software experience preferred.

Salary:
Part-time: $50.00 per hour, Full-time: $74,730.81 - $99,527.36, Salary commensurate with experience.
