Job Description
Electrical Technician (Infotainment / Telematics ECU Testing)
The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing bench-level testing of Infotainment and Telematics ECUs, ensuring proper functionality, quality validation, and issue diagnosis in automotive electronics systems.

• Knowledge of automotive protocols including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet
• Experience using test instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and validation skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform electronics bench-level testing on Infotainment and Telematics ECUs.
• Set up and execute test benches, lab equipment, and validation environments.
• Conduct functional testing and validation of ECU features including audio, connectivity, telematics, and user interface systems.
• Create, execute, and document test cases; analyze results and report defects.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and log analyzers.
• Support ECU integration, flashing, and configuration activities.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and quality assurance teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain test logs, documentation, and compliance with quality standards.
• Assist with regression testing and validation for new releases and updates.
Required Qualifications:
• Strong hands-on experience in electronics bench testing and ECU validation.
• Understanding of Infotainment and Telematics systems.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Experience using electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with test execution, defect tracking, and validation activities.
• Basic knowledge of ECU flashing and diagnostic tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing and test bench environments.
• Familiarity with CANoe, CANalyzer, and CAPL scripting.
• Knowledge of PCBA testing, ECU hardware validation, and board-level debugging.
• Exposure to Infotainment UI/UX testing, audio/video validation, and connectivity feature testing.
• Basic programming or scripting experience using Python or automation tools.
• Familiarity with automotive standards and quality processes.
