Job Summary:

We are seeking a Lead Cybersecurity & Compliance Engineer to lead enterprise cybersecurity initiatives while ensuring compliance across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. This role combines cloud security engineering, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance to establish a strong enterprise security posture.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity architecture, cloud security, risk management, compliance programs, and security automation. This individual will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, Dev Ops, audit, legal, and business teams to implement secure-by-design principles and strengthen enterprise security.

Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity Leadership

Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Design and maintain secure architectures for cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
Develop and enforce enterprise security policies, standards, and best practices.
Lead security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and technical security initiatives.
Drive Zero Trust and Secure-by-Design architecture principles.

Cloud Security

Design and implement security controls across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Manage Identity & Access Management (IAM), encryption, key management, workload protection, and network security.
Integrate security into Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines.
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) security and automated compliance validation.
Lead cloud security posture management and vulnerability management programs.

Governance & Compliance

Lead enterprise compliance and governance initiatives.
Conduct security audits, compliance assessments, and control reviews.
Develop remediation plans for audit findings and identified security gaps.
Maintain security policies, governance documentation, procedures, and evidence repositories.
Support internal and external compliance audits.

Risk Management

Perform enterprise cybersecurity risk assessments.
Evaluate security controls and recommend improvements.
Identify, prioritize, and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
Develop executive-level security dashboards and reporting.
Conduct third-party/vendor security assessments.
Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, security, compliance, audit, and risk management teams.
Present security posture, compliance status, and risk mitigation strategies to executive leadership.
Mentor junior engineers and promote security awareness across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in:
- Cybersecurity Engineering
- Cloud Security
- Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
- Security Architecture
Strong expertise with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience implementing Zero Trust security principles.
Hands-on experience with IAM, encryption, network security, vulnerability management, and cloud security posture management.
Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
Strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and governance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
