Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ITDA Solution Architect with expertise in network management, device provisioning, and control plane technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DOCSIS environments, API development, workflow orchestration, and large-scale device management systems.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of software development experience, including at least 5 years working with network management or device provisioning systems.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, Rust, or C/C++.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with DOCSIS technologies, including CMTS and cable modem configurations.
- Deep understanding of network management and control plane protocols, including DHCP, TFTP, SNMP, and TR-069/TR-369 (CWMP/USP).
- Experience working with DHCP and TFTP applications.
- Strong understanding of IPv6 addressing, DHCPv6, and dual-stack implementations in cable networks.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful and SOAP-based APIs for enterprise systems.
- Experience with workflow orchestration platforms and BPMN or similar workflow engines.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience designing and implementing CPE provisioning, activation, and firmware management solutions.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Dev Ops practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop command and control plane software for DOCSIS and Fiber systems, including DHCP provisioning, TFTP configuration delivery, TR-069/TR-369 device management, and firmware upgrade orchestration.
- Integrate control plane services with DOCSIS infrastructure, including CMTS, OLT, and cable modem configurations (DOCSIS/DPoE).
- Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based APIs for control plane systems and operational dashboards.
- Design and implement API layers that provide unified access to DHCP, datastore, and TFTP applications across multiple network footprints.
- Design and implement workflow orchestration solutions for device activation and lifecycle management using BPMN or similar workflow technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within DHCP, TFTP, TR-069, and related control plane workflows while optimizing system performance.
- Collaborate with network operations, engineering, and product management teams to ensure solutions meet business and operational requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on scalability, reliability, and automation of device management systems.
