Sales Specialist

As a Sales Specialist you’ll be the on‑floor ambassador: welcoming guests, guiding them through product choices, creating personalized customer journeys, and helping drive sales while maintaining full compliance with state and local regulations.

• Provide warm, informed, and professional customer service that reflects the Blue Oak brand.
• Assess customer needs and recommend products (flower, pre‑rolls, vapes, edibles, topicals, tinctures, etc.) based on desired effects, experience level, and consumption method.
• Perform accurate  and follow all age‑and purchase‑limit compliance procedures.
• Operate POS, handle cash and card transactions, process returns/exchanges per policy, and maintain accurate sales records.
• Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training and help merchandise and restock the sales floor to keep displays elevated and accessible.
• Support inventory accuracy by assisting with daily counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Help create a clean, safe, and welcoming retail environment; participate in team meetings and contribute to continual improvement.
