Asset Protection Specialist

Overview

Asset Protection Specialist responsible for preventing financial loss due to theft and fraud and ensuring safety and environmental program compliance in assigned store(s).

• Prevent loss due to theft and fraud by using applicable tools to identify incidents and minimize risk to the company.
• Review CCTV and exception reports, monitor store security, and audit Electronic Article Surveillance and shrink elimination efforts.
• Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries; preserve evidence; interact with law enforcement; and testify in criminal and civil actions when required.
• Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and perform duties in a manner that minimizes risk of injury to associates, vendors, customers, and the company.
• Demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to asset protection and operational concerns, and stay focused on store objectives while supporting asset protection and operational responsibilities.
