Experienced BMW Technician

Job Overview

Dealership: L0710 BMW of Bloomfield (BMW of Bloomfield). We are hiring experienced BMW technicians. Pay: $23 to $40+ per flat rate hour, based on experience.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 7:30-6;
Saturday 8-4. Walk‑in interviews welcome, please ask for Service Manager Richard Hwang.

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose causes of malfunction and complete all work according to safety requirements.
• Road‑test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed, record test procedures/results and time, per company recording and clocking procedures.
• Provide and maintain inventory of normal mechanics tools.

• ALL LEVELS of technicians with BMW experience.
• Up‑to‑date, active ASE and manufacturer certifications.
• Advanced diagnostic and repair capabilities across multiple systems.
• Proficient in engine and transmission repair/replacement, electrical and drivability diagnostics.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Flat rate range: $23.00 to $40.00 per hour. Eligible for short‑term and/or long‑term incentives, bonuses based on production/productivity. Compensation varies based on skills, experience, job‑related knowledge and location, and will be established through the interview process in accordance with pay equity and transparency laws.
