We are growing and we have an exciting new opportunity for a Human Resources Manager to join our team in Bloomfield, NM!

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure compliance with employment laws. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee HR operations and support our company's growth through effective human capital management.

Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition:
    Full-cycle recruiting; managing the onboarding process
  • Compensation & Benefits:
    Payroll oversight, benefits enrollment, leave management
  • Employee engagement, including organizing company events, service awards, and surveys to keep morale high
  • Compliance & Safety:
    Ensure adherence to labor laws and partner with our Safety Coordinator to maintain OSHA compliance and a "safety-first" environment.
  • Employee Relations:
    Act as a trusted advisor to both management and staff, resolving conflicts and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Performance Management:
    Oversee disciplinary action, and policy interpretation
  • Act as a partner to the VP of Administration on a variety of projects, including employer branding, community connections
Skills/Experience
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation procedures.
  • Demonstrated supervising experience in HR teams or related functions.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and the employee onboarding processes.
  • Strong negotiation skills for benefits administration and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills for presentations, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems
  • Skilled in process improvement initiatives and managing HR projects effectively.
